José María Luna is a Colombian producer, screenwriter, and director. Early exposure to movies and television would convince him to eventually pursue a career in film, having directed his first short film at age thirteen. He went on to receive a BFA in filmmaking, graduating with honors at New York Film Academy, after which he worked independently in Los Angeles. As of 2026, he serves as development coordinator for Pulsar Studios in Bogotá, Colombia. He is also a cultural essayist and creative consultant.
