In the time before time, on the planet Gelda, biomechanical beings known as the Matoran live under the wisdom of legends. Together, they serve the Great Spirit, Mata Nui, and their elemental guardians, the Toa, defend the teachings and legacy of Mata Nui from those who oppose his will. Daveon, Mackar, Jinta, and Arador are four of these guardians, who must embark on a quest to fulfill their duty as warriors, while also overcoming their own doubts and fears.
